Derby Operation Holiday is in need of storage space sponsors so we can safely store toy donations that we receive throughout the year.

Storage for 1 month: $85
Storage for 6 months: $600
Storage for 1 year: $1,200

By offsetting these costs for us, we can utilize more of our limited resources to directly support our Derby Operation Holiday families. Every little bit helps!

In exchange for your contribution, we will advertise your business on our website and social media platforms.

Donations can be made online at https://tinyurl.com/DOHSquare or by check to Derby Operation Holiday (please note "storage sponsorship" on the memo line). Mail checks to Woodlawn United Methodist Church, 431 S. Woodlawn, Derby, KS 67037.

Derby Operation Holiday

2025 by the numbers:

-707 individuals served.

-94 families served at distribution.

-86 seniors served in low-income housing.

-48 families served through adoption by the community.

-18,590 food items were donated.

-2,640 toys were donated.

-38 local businesses acted as donation box sites to collected food and toys.

Each applicant was provided with nonperishable food, gift cards for perishable food, meat from Derby Police Department, laundry detergent, blankets, socks, gloves and hats. Children received toys, gift cards for ages 11-18, games, sports balls, books, and stuffed animals. For donated bikes, the Derby Police Department provided helmets. It was a wonderful way to show God’s love through the hearts of our community.

Thank you for uniting with us to care for our USD 260 community. We are excited to begin preparing for our 2026 season of giving!

WAYS TO HELP

• Pray for our mission and the families and individuals we serve.

• Sign up to take a donation box. When you receive your box, take a picture of your business or organization with it and tag us @derbyoperationholiday.

• Have a toy, food, or paper goods drive.

• Volunteer for a few hours. Watch for a sign-up sheet to be posted in November.
