We are excited to begin our 41st year of serving those in need in our USD 260 community.
2024 by the numbers:
- We served 126 families at distribution.
- Toys were provided to 321 children.
- We served 72 low-income seniors in low-income housing.
- The community served 39 families through adoption.
- We had 14,410 food items donated
- 34 local businesses acted as donation box sites and collected food and toys
We provided each applicant with nonperishable food, gift cards for perishable food, meat from Derby Police Department, laundry detergent, blankets, socks, gloves and hats. Children received toys, gift cards for ages 11-18, games, sports balls, books, and stuffed animals. For donated bikes, the Derby Police Department provided helmets. It was a wonderful way to show God’s love through the hearts of our community. Thank you for uniting with us to care for our USD 260 community. We are excited to begin preparing for our 2025 season of giving!
